Southerly Design Updates - A New Logo and a New Color Palette for 2022

I made a couple of updates for Southerly Design this year. As the pandemic is starting to wind down, I’ve felt the need to be more organized in work and in life. Just as I spring-clean the house, I wanted to do a little bit of spring ‘cleaning’ for my design work. It was on my to-do list for a while to create a new logo since I was using my logo from 2018 when I first started. I designed a new, more modern logo and updated my color palette to be more streamlined throughout the year from season to season.

Logo

I wanted to update my logo to be more modern. I love logos that flow together like cursive. This new logo uses clean lines and a few embellishments with a thinner line stroke than my prior logo. I created it to use in black or white, depending on the background.

Color Palette

I wanted to update my color palette to include colors for all seasons of the year ranging from Spring florals to seasonal Christmas designs.
