A Few Things I Love About Squarespace As A Website Hosting Platform

Using Squarespace for creative entrepreneurship is a must. It’s easy to learn, user-friendly, and can be customized as you grow. An aspiring artist can share a portfolio of work, a photographer can post their photos in a beautiful gallery, an author-in-the making can share blog posts and excerpts from their book.

Squarespace is user-friendly. It is manageable for the day-to-day business owner, church, non-profit, or blogger that needs to maintain a website, in addition to their other duties.

Easy-To-Use Website Builder

The backend of squarespace is easy to use and edit. The pages of your website are in the column on the left, where you can edit each page on your site.

Tech Support

The Squarespace tech support and live chat is so helpful. If you’re DIY-ing your site, and need help, Squarespace is there to answer questions and guide you through your web design experience.

Toggle between desktop and mobile view

This is so important since most users utilize mobile devices more regularly than desktop.

Quickly check how your site is appearing on mobile devices, and fix any issue immediately to ensure your site is looking good for visitors.

Unlinked pages

I use this for my homepage. I don’t necessarily want my website to say “home,” but I have a homepage that is not linked as an actual page on my Squarespace site.

Portfolio development

As a designer, I love being able to create a portfolio on Squarespace. In order to protect your intellectual property, you can also lock pages or create site memberships behind a paywall to monetize your content.

DIY-friendly

So, if you’re needing to learn as you go, Squarespace is the perfect platform for you. Mostly, its important to have a presence over worrying about perfection in your website.

Need Help With Your Website?

Using squarespace has been and continues to be a great experience for me. If you’re needing a website, but not quite sure where to start, I can help!
